Black Two
For consistency's sake, shouldn't this page be moved to Black Two/Legends (and likewise for Black 3, 4, and 11), or a least linked via Canon/Legends tabs to Black Two? Moving pages to /Legends seems to disabled, so I was unable to do it myself. RogueWhistler (talk) 02:14, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- Seems like this is the designation of a TIE fighter rather than a pilot callsign so I don't think it should be linked to the canon Black Two page. If it was to be moved to Black Two, it should be Black Two (TIE/LN starfighter) or something --Lewisr (talk) 02:19, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- The phrasing of the CCG card does make it sound like a ship designation rather than a call sign, but the same is true for all similar CCG cards (Red Five, Red Two, etc.), which are treated as call signs on the wiki - if a move is appropriate, I could rewrite the article to reflect that. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia describes Black Two as Mauler Mithel's code name, if that makes a difference. RogueWhistler (talk) 02:58, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
- Possible that Mithel's callsign could be Black Two and the TIE still designated Black 2? If not, then you'll make a decision about which source should take precedent and act accordingly. - That's definitely possible - Poe Dameron is Black Leader while his ship is Black One. My only concern about splitting Black 2/Black Two is that it suggests the same should be done for all CCG card starfighter designations. The CSWE is the more recent source, and it's more consistent with how call signs/comm designations are treated elsewhere in Legends. Although I can see the logic for a Black 2/Black Two split, it's just not reflected in the many similar articles. A move to Black Two/Legends still makes the most sense to me.
