Everything in the legends article is still correct for canon
I’ve gone over the legends version and all I’d have to do is changed the links from legends to canon. Could I copy and paste the legends article here with canon links?--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 22:17, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
- No, definitely not. It should be written from scratch --Lewisr (talk) 22:20, November 17, 2018 (UTC)
- Can I ask why that is? This wiki exists to build comprehensive articles for Star Wars, and this is a case where this is an easy way to fix a one paragraph article--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 03:27, November 18, 2018 (UTC).
- Its plagiarism and pretty bad practice to just copy someone elses work and then paste it onto another page. Another reason (as stated on Talk:Pong Krell is 'copying and pasting would be bad for Search Engine Optimization, since Google and other search engines penalize duplicate content like that.' --Lewisr (talk) 03:38, November 18, 2018 (UTC)
- Very well okay. I will say I have seen several articles that are just copy pasted but I guess that just happens. Also I adapted Skirmish at Vanqor from it's legends version, but that was rewritten and is only really truly similar in structure and a few words. Sorry about that.--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 04:04, November 18, 2018 (UTC)
