Busting

I cannot wait for this novel!

  • That's nice. Please sign your comments with four tildes, and keep your opinions and anticpation off the talk pages. .... 02:50, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Era

I just wanted to confirm this before I added it to the article, to make sure that this wasn't it a fluke that was corrected mid-printing. Tell me, what era does the dust jacket of this novel indicate that it takes place in? -- Ozzel 04:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

  • It's supposed to be Rebellion era, but the dust jacket has it in Rise of the Empire. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 18:47, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Okay, so it's not just me. I have to hand it to Del Rey; I didn't think it was possible to pull off so stupid a mistake more than once. -- Ozzel 04:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
      • They were stuck on Clone Wars times. :(( -Fnlayson 05:14, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Connection to Mace?

On page 70 of the hardcover edition (IIRC; I don't have it in front of me), Zahn makes what seems to me like a connection between Mara Jade and Mace Windu. (I'll avoid spelling it out here -- though I can if it doesn't violate etiquette.) Does anyone else have an opinion on it? Should it be added to the wiki, at least here under "Trivia"? GrandMoffPorkins 07:18, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

  • The fact that they both use the same lightsaber crystals could be slightly interesting I guess... I didn't get the impression that it was supposed to be the same blade or anything. It might be worth noting that the book seems to allege Mace was the only purple saber user in a hundred years... when I'm sure there's been many purple sabers in comics. Unless there's supposed to be something else special about Mace's crystals... although my understanding was that only it's electrum coating was noteeworthy. Nick Fel 08:39, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
  • I noticed that too. I'm wondering if Zahn will write another book about Mace and some odd connection, because he had several links in Survivor's Quest that were put into Outbound Flight. I wouldn't mind a novel about Jedi Master Windu. But hey, that's just me. Jedipilot94 01:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
    • A Mace novel that doesn't suck? Where do I sign up? GrandMoffPorkins 06:09, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
      • I think I know what it is: the Emperor had his new Shocktroopers go and retrieve Mace's body, and took the crystal from the lightsaber. He kept it on display or in a vault until he had a canidate to utilize it. Or, I could be wrong. Jedipilot94 16:24, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Stormtrooper Conditioning

What does this novel tell us about the vaunted mental conditioning of stormtroopers?

Chakrata

Are these guys in it? Their page is out-of-date, but Zahn said that they would be introduced in an upcoming work of his. Sadly, I don't have the book. Rodtheanimegod4ever 22:11, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

What about the suwantek

It is not listed in the ships section. Is there even an article?SargeLIVES 01:55, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

  • It's the Gillia, and I just added it to the list here. Thanks for pointing that out. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 02:15, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Droids

I am almost done with the book but I can't help but wonder why no R2 and 3POBroian 14:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Found my own answer:

Q:Where are C-3PO and R2-D2 during the action of Allegiance?

TZ:Unfortunately, I couldn’t find anything significant in the book for the droids to do. Since I already had a fair number of new characters to develop, I decided to leave the droids out rather than keep them in just as window dressing. Perhaps they’re in the shop for a 50,000 km tune-up.

Categories

What category should this article do under now that Choices of One is coming out, therefore voiding this novel's status as a standalone? MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 18:36, January 7, 2011 (UTC)

Red Links

This page is catagorized as as having a excess of red links in it but it doesn't have a single one in it, obviously the category sticker needs to be removed. Fire-lord (If no one talks thing out, how will we ever have world peace?) ; 00:06, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

  • Then be bold and remove it. ;-) --LelalMekha 00:11, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
    • There are plenty of redlinks in the Appearances section. Don't remove the template until those are resolved. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 00:12, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
      • Oops, I answered too quickly. Thank your for your intervention, Omicron. --LelalMekha 00:13, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
