Why isn't the Imperial-class a Star Battlecruiser?
Why isn't the Imperial-class a Star Battlecruiser with the Allegiance the only named representative? It may also be worth noting that Imperial Star Battlecruisers could be the same ships, because they are all KDY ships, the kind of large battleships that Imperial-class Star Destroyers were supposed to escort during the Rebellion era. Merging request.
Hi.
According to Jason Fry's recent endnote on The Essential Guide to Warfare, the Allegiance-class battlecruisers are in fact the same ones as the Imperial-class Super Star Destroyers in Dark Empire II, at the very least, so we might need to do a merger sooner or later between the two articles, incorporating several aspects of this article into it as well.
