- I rather feel the Gauntlet-class Star Cruiser article should be moved/redirected to Gauntlet Star Destroyer, as that's the only canon term, and even then the name is at best semi-conjectural. It needs moved, and rewritten, judging by the mood among "fleet junkies" at TF.N. [1]

- I'm fine with it, but I'm not too picky about these things. Unless they have a particular canon name or classification, I'm perfectly happy calling them "Big Pointy Ship A" and "Big Pointy Ship B" as long as their specifications are right. -- Darth Culator (Talk)(TINC) 19:49, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not picky, but I do feel that Gauntlet-class Star Cruiser is too fanon, giving a spurious context that there's no canon backing for. Perhaps we need to create a similar generic page to the one done recently for un-named Mon Calamari ships, and gather in all the un-named Imperial designs?

- I have a better idea, move it to Gauntlet Star Cruiser instead. The Allegiance is described as a Super Star Destroyer. With Star Cruisers being the smallest of SSDs and these ships being significantly smaller than Star Dreadnoughts like Eclipse, it seems more reasonable to write it rather than Star Battlecruiser or Star Dreadnought. And that's following canon, just as the original naming procedure for this article. VT-16 21:06, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

- My only objection would be that Star Cruiser would be more specific (as laid out in ITW:OT and SW:CL, regarding SSDs), but other than that, sounds fine. VT-16 22:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
