Sometimes I wonder why his mother couldn't just name him Bob. -- Riffsyphon1024 15:18, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- This is pretty interesting. If you have the first issue of Star Wars Gamer then look at the letters page. One of the letters is Abel's pleading that the magazine devote some of their articles to the TotJ era. Of course they forgot the ñ go figure. Pretty interesting when you note that Abel's start was due to this magazine. Cull Tremayne 05:42, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Gamer was a good read back in the day. Pity it folded. I think non-RPGer EU fans were scared off by the stats, even though they were limited compared to the EU lore in the articles. QuentinGeorge 05:46, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- You're right. They're even more interesting to me now that I somewhat understand RPG stats. Even though there were only 10 I held off on buying several of them because of them being jam-packed with stats. I was one of those that was "scared off". If only I'd known the consequences :P. maybe one of you can clear this up for me: what makes abel g pena (or any star wars author for that matter) any different than supershadow, since anything not written by lucas is, technically fanon.
- Basically this does: Lucasfilm Ltd.. "Canon" is anything Lucasfilm approves. It's the job of Abel, and many other Star Wars authors/artists/etc... to make the EU and other Star Wars related things. Fanon is anything else (not approved by LL) and the "S" word is simply unmentionable ;)--Sauron18 22:52, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
