A starfleet was under the command of Imperial Army Chief General Cassio Tagge shortly prior to the Battle of Yavin. During a meeting of the Joint Chiefs of the Imperial Military, Tagge warned that the Rebel Alliance was too dangerous and well-equipped. Imperial Navy Chief Admiral Conan Antonio Motti rebuffed Tagge, stating that the Rebels were only dangerous to his starfleet, not to the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station.[1]

Following the destruction of the Death Star and Tagge's elevation to Grand General and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military, the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Annihilator served as his flagship.[2] Later, Tagge intended to move his flagship to the Super Star Destroyer Executor,[3] only for the ship to instead be gifted to the Sith Lord Darth Vader upon Tagge's demotion and the Sith warlord's elevation to supreme commander of the Imperial fleet.[4]
