Taï

The Taï were the native sentient species of the planet Taypho.

Biology and appearance

The Taï were amphibian humanoids, short in stature. They possessed a mixed respiratory system, with both gills and lungs. This enabled them to survive at great depths without technological aid.^[1]

Society and culture

They were known to be a friendly, smiling species, with a gentle air about them.^[1]

History

During the Galactic Civil War, the Taï were oppressed by Quantanagor, the Quarren Imperial Governor of Taypho.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Taï were created by Christophe Debien and Patrick Bousquet for the ambiguously canon roleplaying scenario "La légende des cristaux" which appeared in the French magazine Casus Belli 76. They were illustrated by Igor Chevalier and Cyrille Daujean.
