The TT-8L/XSS was the top of the line version of the TT-8L gatekeeper droid.
Characteristics
It consisted of a snake-like body created out of antique bronze with multiple joints to allow fluid movement. Its blue optical sensor was protected by a shutter and could function as a macrobinocular. The body was often decorated with intricate designs and precious metals and gems.[1]
History
The Emperor Palpatine's personal staff procured a large number of TT-8L/XSS for use on the resort moon of Hesperidium.[1]
