The TIE/sr, also known as the Lone Scout Reconnaissance, was a model of TIE fighter series starfighter that was used by the Galactic Empire.[1]

Behind the scenes

The TIE/sr was first mentioned in "TIE Fighters," an issue of Star Wars Encyclopedia[1] that was first released on March 23, 2021.[2] In the English version of the encyclopedia, the TIE/sr was identified simply as the "TIE scout" while the French edition identified it as the TIE/sr and Lone Scout A.[1] The TIE/sr starfighter originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity within the Premiere Limited, the 1995 base card set for Star Wars Customizable Card Game.[3] However, the TIE/sr's mention in "TIE Fighters" describes it to the TIE scout in canon,[4] and the TIE scout ship in Legends.[5]
