TF-9200 was a model of tracking fob,[1] a short-range sensor used by bounty hunters to track their quarries. Bounty hunters who took on assignments gained access to their target's chain code—an identification marker that described certain biographical information. This code drove the parameters of tracking fobs, which were attuned to this biometric data.[7]

In 9 ABY,[8] the Bounty Hunters' Guild handed out TF-9200 tracking fobs to its hunters. Quarries listed on TF-9200 tracking fobs throughout their history included a Mythrol, Grogu, Fennec Shand, and Kaba Baiz. All but Shand were collected by Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin.[2]
