"Hey Vipsha, this is Maranda. Look my buyer got spooked and now I'm sitting on six pounds of synthetic bacta I can't get rid of. You still running with that crew? Got a real good deal for you here on Kijimi. The Republic's buying it at top price. Get back to me as soon as possible."
―Maranda's comm message to Vipsha[1]

Synthetic bacta was a type of bacta that existed in the galaxy.[1]

At somepoint during the Republic Era an individual named Maranda had six pounds of synthetic bacta to sell while on the planet on Kijimi. After their initial buyer backed out they contacted and individual named Vipsha to try to set up a sell with them. Vipsha turned them down noting that the Ashiga Clan's control over Kijimi and telling Maranda that they should cut their loses and dump the bacta. Maranda ignored Vipsha's warnings and was grabbed by the Ashiga Clan leaving the bacta in Vipsha and Jet Kordo's old safehouse. After learning of Maranda's capture, Vipsha contacted Kordo to notify him of the bacta and noted that if he was able to sell the bacta that Vipsha wanted a finder's fee.[1]
