"Symponika Crunchen-Grand" was a symponik—a historical work of music—that recounted the formation of the Gungan Grand Army. It was composed[3] sometime prior to 32 BBY[2] by the famous Gungan Beezar Pert, conductor of the Great Municipal Band, the group of musikagungs that performed the piece.[1] Pert's apprentice, Augara Jowil, was one of the first to hear the composition performed.[3]

  2. 2.0 2.1 The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, Vol. II, p. 175 ("Jowil, Augarra [sic] 'Augie' ") states that Beezar Pert was known for having composed Symponika Crunchen-Grand before Augara Jowil succeeded him as leader of the Great Municipal Band. It also states that she was the leader of the band when Padmé Amidala of the Naboo approached Boss Nass, which The New Essential Chronology dates to 32 BBY. Therefore, Pert must have composed his symponik prior to this year.
