Sweetdrink was a sugary fruit-flavoured beverage potable to humans. It was available in bubbly and non-bubbly varieties.[1] In 230 BBY,[2] aspiring scientist Avon Starros was kidnapped by the Nihil pirates and forced to become the assistant of munitions expert Dr. Zadina Mkampa. While talking to Mkampa, Starros pretended to be thirsty and asked for water, but was given sweetdrink after Mkampa discovered there was none available in the chiller. Starros opted for the kind with bubbles, and realized that Mkampa's cybernetics made her very strong after seeing her open the bottle with one hand. She did not recognize the fruity flavour of the drink upon trying it, and was reminded while drinking that she had not eaten in a while. Starros continued to be given sweetdrink as part of her meals during her captivity, and thought that her bodyguard droid J-6 would never have let her have so much of the beverage.[1]

Sweetdrink appeared in the 2022 junior novel The High Republic: Mission to Disaster, written by Justina Ireland as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]
