Sussimi

A sussimi was a nearly-transparent crustacean from the planet Mon Calamari. The creature were only clearly seen after feeding, because its stomach quickly transformed the food into a transparent intestinal goo. The creature was a predator with a wicked pinch, using hooked claws to snare little fish. When frightened, it sprayed a caustic transparent ink that had skin-burning acidic properties. Colonies of sussimis inhabited nests inside reefs and shipwrecks, and their shells were coveted by transparisteel artists on Dac.^[1]
