Supply was an organization within the New Republic during its reign in which a tinkerer worked.[1] At one point no earlier than 5 ABY,[2] as astromech droids were being assigned to the Republic's Records and Starfighter Corps at a rate that left the Republic's droid pool flimsy, the tinkerer sent an unconventional and modified GNK-series power droid known as Deegee-Aytseven to the Department of Artifacts and Archival Goods Retrieval for an upcoming mission with Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra. As Organa introduced Deegee-Aytseven to Aphra, she questioned why she was being assigned the droid. In response, Organa informed Aphra about the rate of astromech assignments to Records and the Starfighter Corps, which had led to the tinkerer from Supply sending them the power droid.[1]
Behind the scenes
Supply was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the fifth issue of the 2025 comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra – Chaos Agent. The issue was written by Cherish Chen and published by Marvel Comics[1] on October 29, 2025.[3]
