A moon orbited the planet Sullust,[6] which was located in the Sullust system[4] within the Sullust sector[3] of the galaxy's Western Reaches[2] and Outer Rim Territories.[1] In 3 ABY,[7] when the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry captured the Inyusu Tor mineral processing facility on Sullust, the Galactic Empire's Vixus Squadron was dispatched to Sullust to await the return of the rebel company's starships to pick up their troops. The squadron, comprising of TIE/IN interceptors, hid behind Sullust's moon until the 61st's CR90 corvette Thunderstrike and its escorts, the Braha'tok-class gunship Apailana's Promise and two X-wing starfighters, arrived again. Vixus Squadron then ambushed the vessels, shooting down the Thunderstrike.[6]
