Stygium was a material used in cloaking devices. The cloaking devices of TIE/ph "phantom" was based on stygium,[2] and the cloaking technology of the Carrion Spike, the personal corvette of Moff Wilhuff Tarkin,[3] and the Sith Lord Darth Maul's heavily modified Star Courier[4] Scimitar ran on stygium crystals.[1]
