Stun grenades were a class of grenade that included the spore stun grenade produced by Speizoc and the "Mercy" grenade produced by Czerka Arms.[1]

Stun grenades first appeared in the Star Wars canon in the 2015 novel Smuggler's Run: A Han Solo & Chewbacca Adventure.[2]
