The Stone Age was a prehistoric time period. The Mantellian Savrip creatures, native to the planet Ord Mantell, existed at a pre-Stone Age level of development. They lived in family groups and used simple tools. The same could be said for the Karran species when they were observed during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
