Stew was a clone trooper Gunnery Sergeant who was present on the Venator-class Star Destroyer Endurance when Boba Fett disguised as a cadet named "Lucky" blew up a large part of the ship. He wore clone tank gunner armor with personalized paint on his helmet. He helped the clone cadets of the Clone Youth Brigade with target practice, and when asked what he used as targets, he replied "malfunctioning droids" to the great distress of R2-D2.
