A starcutter, or cutter, was a type of small starship model. Starcutters used by the Galactic Empire were usually employed as customs vessels and carried a starfighter complement. Starcutters were also used as personal spacecraft used as of 41 ABY. The Beam Racer was a starcutter.
An Imperial cutter was dispatched to Scarlet Bloodhawk's spaceport after the Ky'lessan Snake-Eyes captured a group of Alliance operatives. The Alliance operatives escaped with the help of Bloodhawk's domodroid H2-1B4 and managed to escape before the cutter could capture their vessel.[1]
