Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Menace Revealed Vol. 1

The Galactic Republic's long era of peace is on the verge of
being shattered. After the shocking death of Qui-Gon Jinn
at the hands of the deadly Darth Maul, the Jedi Council is
now face-to-face with what they have long feared: the
return of the evil Sith.

But with this dark state of affairs, the Jedi also have a new
hope: for some of them believe that the boy known as
Anakin Skywalker, discovered on the desert world of
Tatooine, may be the one prophesied to bring balance to
the Force.

Qui-Gon's former apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, has been
elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight and given the
responsibility of training young Skywalker by the head of
the Jedi Council, Grand Master Yoda. The Council hopes
that by advising the newly elected Chancellor Palpatine,
they can help him keep his promise to root out the
corruption and secrets that threaten to destroy the
Republic from within.

Despite his apparent death, Darth Maul was not the only
Sith in the shadows. His mysterious master, Darth Sidious,
has recruited other allies behind the scenes in his quest to
defeat the Jedi once and for all....
