Star Wars Explained is a Star Wars–centric channel hosted by Alex and Mollie Damon that first debuted on January 5, 2015. The channel seeks to create content, primarily in video format, about the Star Wars universe in all of its media formats, as well as documenting new news and releases from the franchise. As of 2025, Star Wars Explained has released over 4000 videos. Several notable Star Wars creators interviewed by the channel include Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Christopher Sean, Joonas Suotamo, Leslye Headland, Diego Luna, David W. Collins, the younger cast members of Skeleton Crew, and numerous other Star Wars authors.[1]

Star Wars Explained attended Celebration Chicago,[1] which ran from April 11th to 15th in 2019,[2] and participated in the Star Wars Show Stage.[1] The channel also attended Celebration Anaheim[1]—held between May 26th and May 29th, 2022.[3] There, they hosted a panel on the Podcast Stage[1] on May 26th.[4] The following year, Star Wars Explained returned to the Podcast Stage for Celebration Europe,[1] hosted from April 7th to April 10th, 2023.[5] From 2017 to 2021, Wookieepedia's host site, FANDOM, partnered with Star Wars Explained to host the channel's videos at the top of roughly 200 corresponding Wookieepedia articles.[6]
