Star Wars: The Official Figurine Collection 42 is the forty-second issue of Star Wars: The Official Figurine Collection, released in Spain by De Agostini on August 29, 2006. It contained a figurine of Qui-Gon Jinn and a reference magazine. The English and French versions were released several months later.

For issue #1 to have been released in February and issue #9 to be released less than two weeks after May 12, the first issue must have been released on February 1. Therefore, it can be determined that Star Wars: The Official Figurine Collection 42 was released on approximately August 29, 2006.
