Staka was a pink Rodian podracer[2] who was active around 10 BBY.[4] They raced as a duo with the pink Rodian podracer Raka.[2]
Behind the scenes
Staka is a character created for the virtual reality video game Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset;[1] however, the Rodian first appeared in the comic book one-shot Beyond Victory 1,[3] which acts as a tie-in to the aforementioned video game.[5] Both Staka and Raka were concepted and designed as a pair by concept artist Casey Straka, who used the Saperstein twins—Jean-Ralphio and Mona-Lisa—from the television series Parks and Recreation as an inspiration due to their annoying nature.[6]
