Behind the scenes

Staka is a character created for the virtual reality video game Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset;^[1] however, the Rodian first appeared in the comic book one-shot Beyond Victory 1,^[3] which acts as a tie-in to the aforementioned video game.^[5] Both Staka and Raka were concepted and designed as a pair by concept artist Casey Straka, who used the Saperstein twins—Jean-Ralphio and Mona-Lisa—from the television series Parks and Recreation as an inspiration due to their annoying nature.^[6]
