The Sran Outpost was an installation of the Rebel Alliance[1] located in[3] the Sran system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Ash Worlds sector.[2] At some point prior to the evacuation of the Alliance High Command base on[1] the planet[4] Dantooine[1] during the Galactic Civil War,[4] the outpost came under attack. The Rebel officer Risiev Credal exhibited tactical brilliance during the defense and was subsequently transferred to the Dantooine base to further his tactical education under high-ranking Alliance officers.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Sran Outpost was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Sran Outpost in relation to the Sran system.
