The Square Sea was an artificial ocean located 800 kilometers west of Acablas.
Overview
An artificial body of water, the Square Sea was 500 by 500 kilometers in size. Designed so that each of its faces was aligned with the cardinal points on a compass, the Sea was located close enough to the Acablas vergence that locals suggested either the Sith Empire or the Jedi Order had a hand in its creation. Despite many stories, the reason or the means for its construction were lost to history.[1]
