A squall was a type of rodent that could be found on[1] the moon[2] Endor.[1] In 4 ABY,[3] while in a forest on Endor, the Ewok shaman Logray sensed the many life forms around him, including the life presence of a pack of squalls carving out a fresh burrow.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, squalls were mentioned in "Divine (?) Intervention," a short story written by Paul Crilley and published in the 2023 anthology From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, squalls first appeared in The New Jedi Order: Edge of Victory II: Rebirth, a 2001 novel written by Greg Keyes as the second installment of the Edge of Victory Duology.[4] They were then first visually depicted in Star Wars Galaxies, a 2003 video game by Sony Online Entertainment.[5]
