The spitscuttle was a creature known to infest the starships of the Galactic Empire's fleets. They were similar in appearance to the scurrier, a creature from the planet Tatooine, though had no relation. Doctor Chelli Aphra used a spitscuttle in her plan to get revenge on her former associate Shrem, who she tricked into believing that a spitscuttle was a rare type of scurrier.^[1]
