This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

"It isn't for us to determine the fate of Jedi or galaxy. We only mean to bear witness and to speak of it to those who come after. That is our role. To relay visions and instill them in the people. Is that not why you pursue the spirit of Seikara? What vision do you seek?"
―A Pantoran guest, to the Ronin[1]

The spirit of Seikara was a spirit said to live in the Seikara Caverns on the planet Dekien. It was belived to grant visions to visitors to the caverns. The former Jedi known as the Traveler suggested the visions were caused by a shard of the Kyber mirror of Shinsui Temple that had been hidden there. Even after learning the shard had been removed, they noted other reasons, such as the power of suggestion, that they believed could explain the visions.[1]
