Spiced rice milk was type of spiced beverage made using milk and rice. It was mixed with high-octane caf to make the beverage known as Malastarian Fuel, which was popular with the Dugs on the Mid Rim planet Malastare who worked on harvesting the world's resources. Following a culinary tour of the galaxy that he took[1] between 34 ABY and 35 ABY,[2] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included spiced rice milk as part a recipe for Malastarian Fuel, which he considered fancy, in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published[1] in 35 ABY.[2]

Behind the scenes

Spiced rice milk was mentioned as part of a recipe in the 2023 Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. Other than the strong coffee, the other ingredients for the out-of-universe recipe for Malastarian Fuel are long-grain white rice, water, broken cinnamon sticks, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.[1]
