Spheroids was an arcade game. Spacers visiting the Vergesso Base shadowport had a number of entertainment options, including an arcade room that featured Spheroids, among other games. In Galladinium's Fantastic Technology catalogue, the remark is made, "It's said the universe invented the game of Spheroids", because the movements of the eponymous game balls resembled the orbits of planets. The object of the game was to throw, bounce, deflect, and redirect the balls into goals on a table.
