Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

Wookieepedia Gadgets

• [Tool] Reference Tooltips: Roll over any inline citation to see reference information, instead of having to jump away from the article text.  (View description | Export)

• [Tool] Allows highlighting duplicate links in articles via a toggle in "My Tools" in the editing toolbar.  (View description | Export)

• [Tool] BetterTopNav: Search bar and top navigation tweaks, helpful for research-intensive editing. Note: Slightly buggy at the moment due to MediaWiki update.  (View description | Export)

• [Tool] BetterDiff: Improvements to Special:RecentChanges, users' Special:Contributions, page histories (?action=history) and revision comparison pages (?diff=). For admins/rollbacks, also provides patrolling aids in the aforementioned pages.  (View description | Export)

• [Cosmetic Tweak] Adds a red dotted border around text that has changed in diffs.  (View description | Export)

Rollbacks

• [Rollbacks only] AnchoredRollback: Allows for performing rollbacks without needing to open a new tab. Compatible with BetterDiff.  (View description | Export)

• [Rollbacks only] Button added to "My Tools" to, upon being clicked while editing a user talk page, send {{subst:w}} and automatically publish the edit.  (View description | Export)

• [Admin only] Adds some buttons to automatically delete articles with various pre-set deletion summaries, with one click.  (View description | Export)
