Space Slug Slam 6[1] was an arcade game where the player would steer a virtual starship while dodging hazards in the form of asteroids, and the occasional exogorth that would pop up at the top of the screen. The starship was controlled by a set of joysticks, one for each hand.[3] It was one of several games played at Aunt Z's Tavern on the Colossus platform on[1] the planet[4] Castilon. The name of the game[1] and the instructions on the monitor were written in Aurebesh.[1][2]

After having an argument with Kazuda Xiono at the tavern, Hype Fazon went to play Space Slug Slam. However, when Torra Doza came over to talk, he got distracted and inadvertently let go of the joysticks, causing his virtual spaceship to be destroyed by an asteroid.[3] Later, Gork was in the middle of playing the game when Xiono accidentally elbowed a cup, which struck the pirate, causing his spaceship to be gobbled up by the exogorth and the message "GAME OVER" and "PLAY [obscured]GAIN?" to appear on the screen.[2]

The simulated game Flight Simulator Squadron featured the same kind of graphics and challenges as Space Slug Slam 6, but in holographic form.[5]
