Space Pox was a disease. It could be prevented through yearly vaccinations.[1]

Students attending Coruscant Jedi Academy received Space Pox vaccination jabs. Around 194 BBY[2] at the Jedi Academy, there was a reminder on an edition of The Padawan Observer for students to get the vaccine because it was mandatory.[1]
