The Padawan Observer was the school newspaper at the Jedi academy on Coruscant during Roan Novachez's time of attendance there. It featured the latest news on what was happening at the academy, such as school-sponsored events, and also featured end-of-the-year awards presented to students and staff.

Some installments of The Padawan Observer also featured comics. Ewok Pilot, by Novachez, ran during his time at the academy. In the time of Victor Starspeeder's attendance at the academy, it offered the comics Huttfield, Wookiee Circus and Younglings.
