A soul pepper was a type of pepper.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] after arriving on the planet Sophros during a mission, the Kotabi Jedi Knight Terec mentally communicated with their bond-twin Ceret on the planet Coruscant and noted the smell of the planet reminded them of a swamp or jungle liberally dusted with soul pepper and muja sauce, as well as a spice market and a curry made from loamy soil after a rain.[1]

A soul pepper was mentioned in the 2025 novel The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
