The Sord Montok was a transport in use by the transport company Sord Montok for the conveyance of slaves. After picking up the Wookiee slave Reerookachuck on the planet Kessel, he caused a riot enabling him to escape. In the riot twenty guards were killed and thirty were injured, and while eighteen slaves escaped, thirteen were recaptured, ten of which were killed in the process. As a result, the Sord Montok CEO placed a sixty-five thousand credit bounty on the Wookiee to make an example of him and preserve the corporation's image.[1]
