Sootun was a male humanoid who was kept as a prisoner of the Haxion Brood on board the criminal group's base of operations, the space station Ordo Eris. In 14 BBY, Jedi Cal Kestis was also taken prisoner by the Brood, but managed to escape from his cell and passed by Sootun's cell while trying to escape from the station's prison.[1]
Kestis, who did not know who had captured him or why, spoke with Sootun through the humanoid's cell door, but Sootun provided little useful information other than the name of Sorc Tormo, leader of the Haxion Brood. Kestis then left Sootun in his cell and eventually managed to escape from the station. Sootun wore a gray jumpsuit, brown boots and gloves, and a helmet with four lights on the front. He spoke with Kestis in Huttese and laughed at his fellow prisoner.[1]
