- «I remember thinking it was like being stuck in a big soap bubble.»
«That part's from your bath.»
«What?»
«Your bath. The soothement bubbles. Your brain picked up on that memory and slapped it into your dream.» - ―Che'ri and Thalias
Soothement bubbles were used during a bath to provide comfort and to soothe an individual.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] after being given a bubble bath by her caregiver Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," on the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk, the sky-walker navigator Che'ri had a nightmare in which she felt "trapped in a soap bubble."[1]
Behind the scenes
Soothement bubbles were mentioned in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
