Solar Wind Eight was the callsign of an unknown starfighter pilot flying a B-wing starfighter during the Battle of Adumar. The pilot was ordered by General Wedge Antilles to join the screen against the TIE Defenders protecting the Imperial capital ships. Later the pilot tagged Tycho Celchu's downed starfighter and transmitted the coordinates to Allegiance, a New Republic Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, for rescue.[1]
