"Just toast up a slice of bread, spread on some soft moof milk cheese, top it with some local fruit or veg, and then add on a few of these beautiful blooms!"
―Strono Tuggs, The Life Day Cookbook[1]

Soft moof milk cheese was a type of soft, white cheese made from the milk of the creature known as the moof. The cheese was used in the recipe for Millaflower Toast, in which it was spread onto toast and then topped with millaflowers and fruits or vegetables. At some point after publishing his first cookbook[1] in 34 ABY,[2] the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs mentioned soft moof milk cheese as part of a recipe for Millaflower Toast in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook. In the book, he mentioned that he enjoyed eating the dish all year round.[1]

Behind the scenes

Soft moof milk cheese was mentioned as an ingredient in the Millaflower Toast recipe in the 2021 Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook, a recipe book written by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak with photography by Ted Thomas. The out-of-universe recipe uses a mixture of ricotta cheese and lemon zest in place of the soft moof milk cheese.[1]
