The Smoking Forest was a region of the volcanic planet Mustafar. Its name was derived from the smoke that would billow out of the tree-like rock chimneys present in the area. It would also be an area claimed by the Blackguard due to its position close to their headquarters, the Southern Jedi Ruins.

Behind the scenes

The Smoking Forest appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[4] The Smoking Forest appeared was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Trials of Obi-Wan on November 1, 2005.[1]
