Smithy was a Rebel Alliance starfighter pilot stationed onboard the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Defiance. Smithy was killed in the months leading up to the Battle of Endor. The Rebel was honored at a funeral service along with fellow pilots Blue Eight, Roanda, Voxx and Waudok.
