Slybex was a non-sentient species native to the swamps of the shadow world of Umbara. The four-legged species had a long tail and a large head, with tentacles on their faces and spikes on their backs that could be luminescent in adult specimen. Slybex greatly varied in size, from the small slybexan to the large Alpha Slybex, some were even big enough to ride as mounts. The Commander and Lana Beniko killed several slybex during the events of the Crisis on Umbara.[1]
Behind the scenes
Slybex were added to Star Wars: The Old Republic with patch 5.4 that introduced Umbara to the game. Besides appearing as enemies during the "Crisis on Umbara" flashpoint, Slybex pet and mount were also made available from a Cartel Market pack.
