Slime pods were creatures bloated with gas that floated in the swamps on Nal Hutta. They were part of the Hutts' diet.[2] The deliciousness of the creatures inspired Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, who created a dish named after them and included the recipe in his cookbook.[3]
