The Slession system was located in the Inner Rim.[1] It shared its name with the conflict known as the Sundering of Slession,[2] which was fought at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Slession system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square K-14.[1]

  3. ↑ Star Wars: Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide is presented as an in-universe document published nineteen years after the establishment of the Galactic Empire and prior to the Battle of Yavin, which corresponds to 0 BBY, according to The New Essential Chronology. The in-universe Imperial Handbook mentions Imperial involvement in the Sundering of Slession. Therefore, the conflict must have been fought at some point between the formation of the Empire, dated to 19 BBY by The New Essential Chronology, and 0 BBY.
