Sleepwell pills were a type of pill designed to allow an individual to experience an entire night's worth of rest in the form of a short nap. The pills were used by Imperial pilots during the Galactic Civil War between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. The Theta Squadron pilot Amara Kel felt that sleepwell pills were not effective. When reflecting on the pills while stationed aboard the[1] Imperial-class Star Destroyer[2] Avenger in[1] 3 ABY,[3] Kel noted that they only gave[1] her[4] bad dreams.[1]
Behind the scenes
Sleepwell pills were mentioned in the short story "Amara Kel's Rules for TIE Pilot Survival (Probably)," written by Django Wexler and published in the 2020 anthology book From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.[1]
