Skytunnel

A skytunnel, also known as a tram tunnel, was a transportation tunnel that passed through a building, used for vehicular traffic on the ecumenopolis of Coruscant.

Skytunnels were created when a building built by a powerful but ignorant corporation blocked an existing skyway of traffic. They were also used to direct traffic over high-security financial or governmental areas.
